Joe White MBE

Joe White MBE is a Silicon Valley based entrepreneur and investor.

In 2020 Joe was appointed as His Majesty’s Tech Envoy to the United States, and Consul General San Francisco, the first holder of this new role. Prior to his government work Joe has served as: General Partner of Entrepreneur First, a Greylock Partners backed early stage deep tech fund which has invested in 200+ companies across Europe, Asia and the US, with a portfolio worth more than $6bn; co-chair of GBx, a curated network of British entrepreneurs in the Bay Area; a non-executive director for the UK’s Behavioural Insights Team where he advised on social impact technology products; and a former co-founder of Moonfruit.com, a website and ecommerce platform, which he exited in 2012.

He received an MBE from HM Queen in 2017 for Services to Technology Businesses. Joe matriculated at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge in 1995 and read Economics.
